Kootenai County Commissioner Chris Fillios tells the KC Dems to stop voting for Democrats in the May primary and that they should vote Republican to get moderates in.
How can Fillios say he is a conservative after a statement like that?

Mr. Miranda says that he changed to vote Republican in the May 2020 primary to vote for Fillios and because he was scared of some of the sheriff candidate like Whitehead. Miranda also said he wants to find a way to get rid of closed primaries.
The states that have gotten rid of closed primaries have turned very progressive.
