Tokyo 2020 Olympics Begin & Controversy Abound! Cardboard Beds, Fired Directors & Kneeling Athletes

With the Tokyo 2020 Olympics starting up July 23, 2021... don't think about it, the controversy is already starting.

The original director for the opening ceremonies, Kentaro Kobayashi, has been fired. Why you may ask? Well for something relatively retarded; making a holocaust joke, possibly, in 1998. Sounds about right for the IOC.

Athletes are being treated to beautiful accommodations in the Olympic Athlete Village as well. Only the finest Cardboard Beds, to discourage spreading more than just a couple peaches.

As for the early work from the team side, we have been treated to some matchups that prominently feature kneeling activist-athletes. Don't fret, it's here to stay, the IOC is making sure of it. The most notable crew participating in the nonsense is the US Women's National Soccer Team. In their first outing, they mostly knelt, as is customary at this point and went on to play an absolute stinker against the Swedish team. Dropping the contest 3-0. Sucks to suck.
