Liberia is a country in West Africa which was founded by free people of color from the United States.
The national anthem of Liberia is "All Hail, Liberia, Hail!". The music was written by Olmstead Luca, and the lyrics were written by Daniel Bashiel Warner (1815–1880), who later became the third president of Liberia. The song was adopted as the official national anthem in 1847, upon Liberia's independence.
