20210722 They're not Their Parents - The Daily Summation

Do you have grown children? If so, you're probably WELL AWARE, your children ARE NOT as like you as many people would expect.

Are you younger, and/or without children?

Think about some of the people you knew as a child yourself. Compare them to their parents.

Do that for the time they were young, and if you're old enough, do it for later in their lives.

As hard as it can be to see, YOUR OWN PARENTS and siblings likely changed SUBSTANTIALLY over time.

The point is, you can't say anybody is an exact duplicate of their parents.

That's one of the MOST IMPORTANT reasons I do my videos.

You may be wondering what I'm talking about. Let me explain.

As people get older, they gain the ability to DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES.

When that happens, having things out there for them to consider, and weigh, gives them the opportunity to maybe see things they've yet to consider (or maybe to count as significant as they actually are).

My final word? Don't assume people will end up being like their parent(s); keep putting things out there for them to consider, as they decide who they are.

That's what this edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics talks about.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
