The mother elephant can be seen helping her calf taking a drink, but he hasn’t quite got the hang of how to do it yet!

The heart-warming pictures were taken by photographer and guide Janet Kleyn, 53, at the Mashatu Game Reserve, Botswana.

Janet said: “The herd at the waterhole and the baby was still too young to know how to use his trunk.
