The US government will hit the debt ceiling by November, according to the Congressional Budget Office. No worries though, Congress will just raise the ceiling and keep spending.

Senate Republicans voted to block debate on the $1.2 trillion, supposedly bi-partisan, infrastructure bill. Leftists said they won't vote for the bill anyway without assurance that over $3 trillion in other spending will pass, destroying any notion of bi-partisan unity.

171 million stimulus checks have gone out since March, for a total of $400 billion of borrowed taxpayer money
