Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) discussed on Sunday with MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart voting laws and pushing "election infrastructure funding" through the Senate using the reconciliation process.

"Here is one thing we haven't talked about. We have the infrastructure packages. The Build Back Better packages," Klobuchar said. "We're working on it with the Biden administration. the first is bipartisan and the second most likely, of course, be a Democratic package through another process called reconciliation. We can put election infrastructure funding along with housing and child care and the like and do what we can to incentivize mail-in balloting. That is no substitution For The People Act."

"It's another vehicle where I can push these provisions and use it as much as I possibly can under the law," Klobuchar said.
