The weather pattern over the week is mainly dry. Just a few scattered chances of showers and a rumble of thunder to quickly pass by. Otherwise, hazy skies from the Canadian wildfires, bringing smoke into the area. Midweek temperatures cool down a bit as the winds switch to out of the northeast and off of the lake. A cold front passes through the area this afternoon, dropping the sticky dew points too. Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 70s. Warm weather moves back in on the weekend and stays into early next week, with upper 80s to near 90°. Although, if the smokey skies remain during that time, it will cut down on high temperatures by a few degrees, since smoke does reflect some of the solar radiation, similar clouds.
