Manitoba COVID dissent crackdown takes aim at independent media

Todd McDougall, the owner of Winnipeg Alternative Media, was arrested for his alleged role in contradicting the Manitoba provincial health guidelines. Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister has directed authorities to take one of the toughest crackdowns on COVID dissent in Canada, including taking aim at independent media in the province.
