Four Types of Servants

Brother Quentin delivers a message to the crowd in Ybor on a Friday night. Though the message is preached to all, it is directed towards the lukewarm believers that are frequenting the bars, and loving the things of this world, to those who have grown weary in waiting for the Lord’s return.

*Clarification: Scripture mentions the Servant being “cut in sunder” in Luke 12:46. The way I delivered the message sounded as if Jesus will cut that servant in pieces. When the servant is “cut in sunder” he is being cut off from the body of Christ. For example, the branch being cut off from the vine and cast into the fire (John 15:1-10) verifies this to be true. Remember as a believer you are a member of the body of Christ, do not be that servant that grows weary in waiting for the Lord’s return (thinking it will be some distant time in the future) and begin to sin against the Lord and eat and drink with drunkards. Truly, the Lord will cut you in sunder from his body and appoint you your place with the unbelievers…. Hellfire.
