St. John Vianney

St. John Vianney,, also known as the Cure d’Aris is the patron saint of parish priests and surely one of the very greatest priest saints in the history of the Church. St. John’s life was lived totally for the salvation of souls. His austere life of prayer and penance brought down the grace to soften hardened hearts. Renown as an apostle of the confessional, he spent his entire life reconciling sinners to God through the sacrament of penance.
