The cat (scientific name: Felis catus) is a small, carnivorous mammal weighing 2 to 8 kg, with a body usually covered with fur. Except for the Sphinx cat, which has a hairless body. This animal is the only domesticated species of the feline family. This animal is valuable to humans because of its communication with humans and the hunting of certain pests such as mice. There are currently about 60 different breeds of cats registered.

Cats are anatomically strong and flexible, have quick reactions, sharp teeth, and retractable claws that are suitable for dipping and killing prey. Cats also have a strong sense of smell and the ability to see at night.
