Lassen Tied Trees

I'm in Lassen County, California near the area where my truck windshield was broken by a mysterious high speed flying rock.

I am expanding my search area to include some areas that have ponds that dry up in summer. I first noticed trees with the roots stacked up on some lava rock formations but then find trees that were bent over and the branches woven together. I cant reach the bend or where the weaving took place! Another weird one.
