"This whole thing has terrified people and its all a lie. I don't think a single fundamental driving factor about this epidemic has been represented correctly.
And its obvious to experienced scientists like me, and when I've spoken to lots of my peers, they agree. So its not like I'm an unusual person in thinking as I do.
What's unusual is that I've come out and said so, and most of my colleagues have more or less said that 'my employer or university doesn't want me to say anything that would be counter to the official line, so I'm just staying quiet'.
Whereas I decided that I wasn't going to do that, because something very bad is happening, and its getting darker."
