Psalm 13

Let's pray together the mighty Psalm 13, that the Lord will deliver us from all suffering.

1 How long will you forget me, LORD? Forever? How long will you hide your face from me?

2 How long will I suffer with worries and sadness in my heart, day after day? How long will the enemy prevail against me?

3 Look at me and answer, O LORD my God. Renew the glow of life in my eyes, otherwise I will give myself up to the sleep of death;

4 and my enemy will come to say: “I have conquered”; and my opponents will celebrate my failure.

5 Yet I trust in your love; my heart is filled with joy and satisfaction in your salvation.

6 I want to sing to the LORD for all the good he has done me.
