Judge Ye Not? Biblical Context in 2 minutes, author David Fiorazo
One of the most misused verses in perhaps the entire Bible is 'Judge ye not' from Matthew 7:1. Here's some biblical context and application. How are we supposed to warn others about sin without saying anything?
"My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins." James 5:19-20
Here's a two-minute message from David Fiorazo for those who care enough to obey God's Word and speak up. Always do so in truth and love. Remember, context matters!
For extended study, read "Aren't you judging me for making a judgment?" http://davidfiorazo.com/2016/07/why-a...
*Correction: reference to Judges 17:6 and 21:25: "In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes." (Not Judges 17:7)
