Brittney's NBC 26 weather forecast
The heavy rain and storms has moved out of the area this morning. A Flash Flood Warning is still in effect for eastern Winnebago, Calumet and Manitowoc counties this morning. Several areas south of 29 received 2-4" of rain. Beware of significant ponding water on roads, rising rivers, streams and culverts. Don't drive through any water! Turn around, don't drown. A few additional showers are possible through the morning. But skies will clear in the afternoon, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Friday will be similar temperature wise, cooler, in the upper 70s to near 80. Skies will be sunny which will be a nice start to kick off the weekend. Several days of sunny weather are expected as we head into the weekend and next week. Temperatures will be gradually rising into the mid to upper 80s by Monday.
