The Republic of Karelia (Russian: Респу́блика Каре́лия; Karelian: Karjalan tazavaldu; Finnish: Karjalan tasavalta; Veps: Karjalan Tazovaldkund), or Karelia (Russian: Каре́лия, Ка́рьяла; Karelian: Karjal), is a republic of Russia situated in Northern Europe.
The Anthem of the Republic of Karelia is the regional anthem. The music for the anthem was written by Alexander Beloborodov.
