Is Independent Film Studio A24 in Trouble?

To read the publicity, A24 as an independent film company has it all... award winning films; great box office returns; an opportunity to break new artists... But, yet, Variety suddenly published not one but TWO "exclusives" on movements the company is making. Whenever a company says, "it has been exploring a sale," it is usually a safe assumption to make that they HAVE to make a sale. Ditto for saying they are cutting short the theatrical release window so a title will be available for streaming in an unusually short amount of time. This can mean that either the movie did not test well or the revenues are needed NOW. Is this what is happening with A24?
