Is the Resurrection A Hoax?
Did the early followers of Jesus make up the story of Him arising from the dead... Our purpose today is to review the record of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and examine the witnesses.

Jesus had been placed in a tomb and was dead. Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea had dressed the body in linen. After three days and three nights a group of women including Mary Magdalene found the tomb empty. We also have the testimony of Cornelius Tacitus and Flavius Jospehus attesting to His death.

The disciples saw Jesus Alive and interacted with Him... as did 500 other peole.

Many were willing to be persecuted, beaten, and even executed for their testimony to the truth of what they had seen. The testimony of the apostle Peter and the apostle John is that He is risen. The both saw the empty tomb. They both encountered Jesus as risen from the dead.
