America is Mystery Babylon

America is the greatest country in the history of human civilization. The bible discusses a Great Nation in the Last Days that would be corrupt, wicked, this nation would be responsible for millions of death, this nation would exploit other nations, all nations would bow to this Great Nation, and most importantly this nation would be responsible for the oppression of God's Chosen People.

“For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries." Revelation 18:3

For many Americans reading that brief description, most can not understand how it applies to America. For many Americans, America has been the hero in all of these Wars. She was going to fight terrorists in Iraq, not kill millions and exploit them for natural resources, Americans were just peacekeepers in Vietnam, not a power grab for resources in their country.

“The pride of your heart has deceived you,
you who live in the clefts of the rocks
and make your home on the heights,
you who say to yourself,
‘Who can bring me down to the ground?’
Though you soar like the eagle
and make your nest among the stars,
from there I will bring you down,”
declares the Lord.
Obadiah 1:3-4
