Huge king cobra caught hiding under kitchen cabinet

This is the shocking moment a huge king cobra was caught hiding under a kitchen cabinet in central Thailand.

Footage shows the 10ft-long snake being dragged out from its hiding spot by animal rescuers in Phetchaburi province.

Boonsong Somchai, one of the snake catchers in the team, said: ‘This cobra might have sneaked in from the nearby forest. We always reminded families not to handle such snakes on their own.’

The rescue team later freed the aggressive reptile back to the wild.
