Fr. John Corapi... "You love God above all things, you've got to see God in everybody, that's what Mother Teresa of Calcutta taught us, to be able to see Jesus even in the poorest of the poor. You do a good job out of love for God first and out of love for your neighbor second. I always tell people.. Put God first, Put everybody else second and Put you last.. you know what happens then? ..the fulfillment of a Promise, that's what happens, the Last become First, and don't you forget it. Jesus said I have come to serve, not to be served.. Humility strikes at the very Roots of Evil.. Humility is the Absolute Offset, the Antidote, the Counter-Attack, the Weapon that strikes right at the Root of Evil.. and what is the Root of Evil? ..Pride..!! Now it doesn't mean that healthy pride.. pride in your work, pride in your family.. no, it's another word.. Huberous (in Greek), Arrogance, Self-Centered Pride.. it is that Pride which seeks to exalt the creature above the Creator. What is Humility? Humility in fact is the Acknowledgement of Truth.
