The Samsung Galaxy A22 5G was officially announced on June 3, 2021. The materials used in building the smartphone include a glass front, a plastic frame, and a plastic back. It measures 167.2 x 76.4 x 9 mm and weighs 203 grams.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes in a 6.6 inches screen size and the display is TFT capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. It is available in four colors: Gray, White, Mint, and Violet.
The 5G-ready smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6833 Dimensity 700 5G (7 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Mali-G57 MC2. It runs on the Android 11 + One UI Core 3.1 operating system.
