This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas

The Larson Electronics MPD-CB12-NTL.30A-ST5SZ-ZD-1.L05-M2 Rack Mount Power Distribution converts single-phase 208V AC electrical current to single-phase 120V AC. This portable unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 208V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. All system components are secured to a standard 12U ATA case with four, 4" casters at the base for mobility.

The MPD-CB12-NTL.30A-ST5SZ-ZD-1.L05-M2 temporary power distribution unit gives operators the ability to power their 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect single-phase 208 volt line-in power using an included power extension cord to one NEMA L6-30 twist-lock inlet. The 20' 10/3 SOOW extension cord contains a NEMA L6-30P plug and NEMA L6-30C connector. On the secondary side, operators may access one NEMA L5-30R receptacle for 120V equipment.

Operation: An included 20' 10/3 SOOW extension cord with a 30-amp NEMA L6-30P 250V plug and 30-amp NEMA L6-30C 250V connector brings single-phase 208V power to a 30-amp NEMA L6-30 250V twist-lock inlet on the primary side and passes power to the transformer. The 5 KVA transformer converts single-phase 208V to single-phase 120V and passes the current to the secondary side of the system. The secondary side has one 30-amp 1-pole 125V main circuit breaker protecting one 30-amp NEMA L5-30R 125V twist-lock receptacle.

Protective Construction: The power distribution system is protected by a standard 12U (17" deep) ATA case with casters. This case takes on 9mm plywood construction with a laminated, black exterior. Heavy-duty plated hardware and reinforced corners provide added protection from bumps and contact during deployment or transportation around the site. The housing features 3.2mm thick front and rear rack rails, as well as tongue and grove extruded aluminum valance. Operators may access red recessed twist latches and spring-loaded rubber-gripped handles on the side of the case. There are four, 4" casters at the bottom of the base (two fixed and two fixed/locking).

This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Larger units are available upon request and can be equipped with skids or trailer mount.
