Parrot also known as psittacines are birds of the roughly 398 species in 92 genera cormprising the order Psittaciformers. Found mostly in tropical and subtropical. Regions. The order is subdivided into three superfamilies. Psittacoidea, the Cacatuoidea and the Strigopoidea.
