Dragon Quest Episode 29 & 30 REACTION/REVIEW |THE PAIN OF LOSS AND THE PRICE OF FREEDOM

Borahorn looks like he is about to kill Popp when suddenly, Larhart spears him with his spear saying that his acts were unforgivable. Larhart shares that he and Baran understood each other's pain and asks Hyunkel to save him. Before Larhart dies, he gives Hyunkel his armor. As Crocodine, Merle, and Leona plan on how to keep Dai safe, Baran shows up. Baran tells them that Popp went to fight the Dragon Riders alone and they become remorseful. Crocodine plans to buy time by essentially becoming a punching bag for Baran, but also to wear down Baran's power. Hyunkel appears just before Baran attempts to strike down Leona. Hyunkel tells Baran everything Larhart told him about his pain, but this only angered Baran. Baran, enraged, transforms into his full draconic form and defeats everyone one by one. When he attempts to deliver the final blow to everyone, Dai appears. Dai attempts to go with Baran, but Popp stops him. Committed to saving Dai, Popp makes the decision to sacrifice himself by using Megante, the move Avan used sacrificing his life. He briefly reminisces on the times he had with the group, but especially with Dai before he vanishes in a blinding light. Unfortunately, Baran survived mostly unscathed due to the fact that Popp was inexperienced using a high power attack that grave and attempts to finish off him and Gomechan, but Dai steps in. Dai, now with his memories back, orders Baran to stop attacking his friends. Baran tries to control Dai again using the power of the crest, but this time, Dai overcomes him with his crest power and manages to deliver Baran a huge blow in the face. We see at the end how Dai now has his crest moves from his forehead to his fist. Baran is baffled as he says that this has never happened before, but that it could be due to the fact that Dai is half human!Show more
