20210710 Blame Them All - The Daily Summation

Does ANYBODY believe all the police in any but a VERY SMALL police force, are ANYTHING CLOSE TO perfect?

I can't imagine anybody being that out of touch with reality.

It's likely that police departments in larger cities, are EVEN LESS populated with "good" officers.

Even so, ditching the entirety of police--"defunding" them, as it were--can't be anything but a bad idea.

I very well understand. There will be police who chose to "toe the party line." The ONLY way I know to "beat" that, is to FIGHT.

I'm not talking about physical altercations, but taking it before a judge, and working to get bad cases overturned.

I GET that's a big sacrifice. Not doing it though, will result in things ONLY GETTING WORSE.

That's true for groups other than the police. I'm relatively CERTAIN, doctors kill far more people through various kinds of malpractice, than the police do through malfeasance of various types, for example.

This is why I felt the need to hold forth on this subject on Saturday's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.
