Argentina became winners of the Copa America for the first time since 1993 as they defeated Brazil in a 1-0 encounter. The night belonged to neither Lionel Messi nor Neymar Jr as both failed to fire for their team. The only goal of the game was scored by Angel Di Maria. Rodrigo De Paul assisted Di Maria's goal. The cup win finally quenched Messi's thirst for a major international trophy in the quest to become the ultimate GOAT. Brazil couldn't find an equaliser to Argentina's goal and thus were punished for their incompetency in front of the goal.
