Biden refuses to answer Catholic question. "That's a private matter."

Context:
Certain Bishops within the Catholic church have stated that they will not perform communion for politicians who have supported abortion rights. On 6/18/2021, Biden was asked if he felt this would create a rift within the Catholic church.

Transcript:
Reporter: Um, are you concerned about this rift within the Catholic church and are you concerned about this action?

Biden: Say again?

Reporter: The Catholic Bishops are moving on this resolution that would proof-prevent you and and others who um supported abortion from receiving communion. Are you concerned about the rift in the Catholic church and how do you feel, personally, about that?

Biden: That’s a private matter and I don’t think that’s gonna happen. Thank you.
