To make the large beveled finger joints in the round table leg assembly I used a ramped fixture on my already existing dado sled. The ramped fixture is made of a couple of pieces of plywood cut at 15 degrees (the bevel angle). The angled pieces are glued and nailed to a plywood platform along with a vertical stop along the right side for referencing. To attach the ramp to my existing dado sled, I clamped it to sled's stop block and fence. I had to use my 10" flat grind blade because my dado blade set does not have enough cutting depth. I cleared out the waste cutting right to the scribe line of the finger joints. I then cleaned up the shoulders on the horizontal leg pieces at the bench with a chisel. The result was a snug fitting finger joint !
