Growing up on an active farm, we grew potatoes most of our lives and as adults, we grew them the way we were always taught... in loose soil. This year we decided to try something radical for us... which is the no-dig/Ruth Stout method. We also decided this year that we wanted to get as close as possible to growing all the food our family would need, so we dramatically increased the size of our potato patch. If this works out... we hope to never dig a "tater" again while also enriching the soil by adding tons of organic material.

This is our first video in the series and we'll have more coming out soon on the progress we've made.
