I Need A Social Worker!

A socialist mayoral candidate in Buffalo says police, quote, 're-victimize' people and wants to send social workers on emergency calls. With today’s Americans for Limited Government Minute, I’m Catherine Mortensen. In addition, India Walton, the Democrat candidate for mayor, said she wants to cut the funding to the police force. Walton says she plans to reallocate seven-and-a-half million dollar of police funds to social programs. Quote, It would go to a lot of the things that we talked about just now, into ensuring that people have access to mental health services, that communities have the resources that they need to thrive, things like educational assistance for our young people, job training, skills training. And these same people wonder why crime is skyrocketing on so many of our Democrat-run large cities! The number of people shot in Buffalo last year increased ninety percent compared to twenty-nineteen, according to Buffalo Police Department statistics, while homicides increased forty percent.
