Spiritual Formation

Christianity looks nothing like the church of the patristics. Oh how we have fallen as to what the message should be and the focus. We define what spiritual formation is and what it looks like, the problem is we are not being conformed to the image of Christ, learning how to be truly human. What we have is a continuation of self-help and motivational cheerleading stooped in the American Gospel. The church is looking more and more apostate, we must get back to the cross and training ourselves in godliness that results in a cross shaped life. There is so much here, a jammed packed teaching that will open your eyes to the state of the church and the average Christian.
