NEW VIDEO: This is video from an incident around 1:30 am July 4, as a suspect reached for an officer's holstered duty weapon and managed to squeeze off a round.

One officer was struck by the bullet, another received shrapnel wounds.

Both are recovering. Lyndon Troung, 28, is facing numerous charges.
