Blackberry bush bolted!

I stepped out on the deck to take a look at the garden and the blackberry bush was a foot taller than the week before. We've been experimenting with different watering methods. Now we pour right at the soil insteasd of showering the plants. The idea is that we don't want to wash away neem oil or bt previously sprayed. The plants seem to be responding well so far. At some point we''ll setup drip irrigation. But, we are trying to be as thrifty as possible. So, one thing at a time for now.
