EASY DIY Garden Project - Rain Barrel Water Pump

A short video where we show how we add a powered water pump to our rain barrel. It's an easy project and makes a huge difference on our morning watering chores.

*** See parts list and links below ***

This will literally save us hours each week with our garden watering. In the past, we watered everything by hand - every morning!!! In the Texas heat, we try to get out and do our chores early - and that helps.

Before adding the water pump to the rain barrel system, it took a couple of hours each day. We were filling watering cans, carrying the cans to the plants, and then filling again. While that system works, it's labor intensive.

Now that this project is complete, we can water the garden much faster, saving us significant time and allowing us to get to some other chores before the heat hits a million Texas degrees. lol
