Thirsty squirrel gratefully drinks water from Grand Canyon hikers

While hiking at the Grand Canyon in Arizona, John came across a thirsty squirrel on July 1.

John offers the squirrel some water, and the squirrel gratefully accepts a few sips as it grips the plastic bottle with its small hands.
