Dr Christian, Saskatoon Professor Disciplined for Informed Consent Request

Dr. Francis Christian is a surgeon and published poet.
He is a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh - FRCSEd and a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Canada - FRCSC, until that is he was fired from his academic job in the University of Saskatchewan and the Saskatchewan Health Authority on 23 June 2021. His punishment was for the crime of asking for full informed consent for the covid-19 vaccination campaign targeted at children, he was Clinical Professor of Surgery in the University of Saskatchewan, Director of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety and Director of The Surgical Humanities Program. He was also Editor of the Journal of The Surgical Humanities.
