Why you must sacrifice if you want increase

Do you want to reach your full potential and become all you were created to be? Then you MUST count the cost.


If it is not going to cost you anything, it should not be worth your time.


Don’t go for what is free because without paying the price, you will never reach your full potential. Can you imagine what will happen to a grain of corn if it refuses to pay the ultimate cost of dying and giving up being seed? It will never experience 100, 200, or even 300 fold increase. Do you want to reach your full potential? Then count the cost. Here is what Jesus said concerning counting the cost:


“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?  For if you lay the foundation and are not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule you, saying, ‘This person began to build and wasn’t able to finish.’
 “Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Won’t he first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand?  If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples. Luke 14: 28-33


You cannot eat your cake and keep it. Those who want to succeed without counting the cost and paying the price are attempting to do the impossible. Without counting the cost and paying the price you will NEVER reach your full potential.


It may cost you some sleep,
It may cost you some friends.
It may cost you some money.
It may cost you a geographic location.
It may cost you your popularity.
It may cost you your pride. 
It may cost you your comfort.
It may cost you your agenda.


Whatever the cost, it is you and you alone that will count that cost and pay it. Counting the cost and paying the price is a sure way to reach your full potential. Are you ready and willing to calculate the cost and pay the price?
