20210707 Is Simple Really Best? - The Daily Summation

There's an idea that is prevalent among folks in the "modern world."

It may be possible to argue that it's been around for a long time.

That argument is often stated as something like, "The simplest answer is always the best one."

Where that may SEEM like a reasonable idea (and in fact, may even often BE one), there are times when, if you choose the simplest possible explanation, you'll end up being WRONG.

I'm sure you can imagine a time when that simplest solution IS NOT what actually occurred.

You wouldn't be alone in being able to do that.

If it's true for things you DO know about, it's possible that it's equally the case for things about which you DON'T have understanding.

This is what I try to voice in the current edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
