Brittney's NBC 26 weather forecast

Our hot & humid weather has come to an end. After 4 straight days with highs near 90° & sticky uncomfortable dew points in the 70s... a strong cold front has now passed over us. This is what kicked up the widespread showers/storms. The rain brings in cooler and less humid air for today, with highs only hitting the low 60s, alongside breezy NE winds. Another 1/2" of rain is possible throughout the day today. We stay below average with comfortable conditions in the low to mid 70s as we push into the weekend.
