The 7 Churches of Revelation - Part 1 - Intro & Ephesus

Rickey Martin and Geoff Hastings teach this first in a series of four lessons. It's central focus is Jesus Christ in His glorified state and the Apostle of our Faith. This first lesson introduces the series, and emphasizes that Christ "is in the midst of His churches" even when they need rebuked for becoming involved in various distractions. This first lesson also speaks about the Church in Ephesus and it having "left their first love" and demonstrates their need to return to the central truths of the Gospel or Christ will remove it. These same truths are applicable in today's churches. We too must be alert and on guard to ensure we do not "leave our first love". Repenting, even if a believer, is key to keeping this first love and desire for doing "the first works" of devotion to God.
