Ocean is on Fire

Video of fire breaking out on the surface of the Gulf of Mexico has gone viral. The fire reportedly broke out after a gas leak from an underwater pipeline. State oil company Pemex informed that the blaze has been extinguished. Bright orange flames jumping out of the water resembled molten lava. The circular-shaped blaze raged a short distance from a Pemex oil platform. According to Pemex, the fire took more than five hours to fully doused. Pemex said no injuries were reported & production from the project was not affected. The gas leak, which ignited around 5:15 am local time, extinguished by 10:30 am. The company added that it would investigate the cause of the fire.
