This video presents very briefly Nietzsche's idea of happiness.

For Nietzsche, happiness is not necessarily opposed to suffering. Suffering is the enabling condition of happiness. In other words, for Nietzsche, suffering is a necessary part of life and the joy of overcoming it is happiness itself.
