I am a parent four times over (in some degree, I can argue for a couple of others).

As such, I STRONGLY recognize the burden that comes from having children.

That said, there are a couple of strong reasons to do so.

You might be somewhat surprised by the more utilitarian ones I cite in this piece (as primary, not total).

It was because of the reasons in question that I felt the need to discuss this on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.
