Shot 11/29/20. With a quiet Thanksgiving last year, me and my Dad decided to go venture out to a New Jersey Transit Station for some Thanksgiving Weekend trains just like we did in 2018 when that Thanksgiving was quiet. Though in 2018 we railfanned the Northeast Corridor Line since Amtrak was operating lot's of special trains. Since this was 2020 Amtrak was not doing that in 2020. So we decided to simply go check out a station we haven't been to yet on New Jersey Transit. The choice was Ho-Ho-Kus since we haven't done any railfanning videos (excluding the 2015 train ride) on the Main/Bergen County Lines. This is a popular station to railfan at so we had to check it out! Between Waldwick and Ridgewood contains the most action on weekends and Ho-Ho-Kus is in between the two stations. We saw quite a bit of trains for the three hours we were here. We got every type of train engine and cab car that goes through here except the Metro North F40's.It was a lot of fun to see! We also finally get some Metro North Port Jervis Line action here as well. Enjoy this railfanning video!
