With the mission to provide practical knowledge for the dairy professionals, the Santafé Agroinstituto brought one of the world’s top dairy specialists and extensionists on nutrition and management of dairy cattle, Dr. Mike Hutjens, who has committed to pass along all his knowledge achieved since his early life on his parents’ dairy farm to the actual days. Dr. Hutjens earned his PhD in 1971 and along these decades, he has taught hundreds of students and improved the dairy production of dozens of dairy farms in the US and worldwide. Nowadays, Dr. Hutjens continues to follow the latest researches on the dairy field and, with all his expertise he provides practical comments to the course students.
