So much for Odysee being for Free Speech. Triggered Content Creators Can Now Censor Comments

The whole point of LBRY and its front end Odysee was they were supposed to be focused on Freedom of Speech. It is one of the reasons why the LBRY protocol uses blockchain technology and everything is stored on it, including comments.

Now, those in charge at Odysee have decided to enable the ability for content creators to censor comments manually and even by keyword. On top of this, they have also enabled the ability for them to be able to block people from commenting on their content as well. And we can’t leave out how creators can mute people on top of this. Which is only going to attract the same people who make content and their subscribers that have overwhelmingly helped YouTube make it a complete and total shit hole of censorship because they’ve been triggered.
