CHAPTER 025 - THE FIRST PRINCE

Over six hundred years prior to the current events, a young man named Aymon lived on The Oasis among his Breakaway brethren. His father was the a Keeper of the Breakaways around a century following their exodus from earth

The moment he discovers the truth about the history of his people he grows disgusted with what he sees as a ticking time bomb of a society. After his friend devises a miniaturized version of the Genesis program he clones a ship called The Paimon, and long with his wife, sister in law, and her husband, they make their way back to Earth.

They decide to broker contact at Lost Mountain, which is by far the most populated Keep in the land, and after a presentation in the sky as to who they were and why they had arrived, the Keepers signaled for them to land. At first all was cordial, but after they were put in quarantine they soon came to realize that it was nothing more than a prison, for the Keepers were intent on abiding to the Testaments of the Founders.

A month goes by, and after a mysterious letter is shoved under their door a group of rebels breaks Aymon and his crew from prison, and they are whisked away in the middle of the night. The entire events are told to our travelers as they make their way down the Arkansas River by the elder giant Dalaandeen, an old story he was told by a friend from Lost Mountain which their residents knew as The Splintering of Lost Mountain.
